Planning Board · Meeting of September 28, 2026
Kingston Planning Board clears backlogged minutes, previews Thursday road work at Grove and Pembroke. The board voted 4-1 to approve its August 10 minutes, with member Alexander Graham abstaining since he had missed that meeting, and 3-2 to approve its September 14 minutes, with Jonathan and David abstaining for the same reason. Board member Val told members construction narrowing the Grove Street and Pembroke Street intersection is "excited that the grant's moving forward" and will begin Thursday morning to discourage drivers from cutting through the corner.
Members also noted, in passing, that a town-meeting-approved billboard had finally been installed years after its original authorization. No new planning or permitting business was taken up at the meeting.
